The wet pattern continues across Acadiana with another round of showers popping up early on in the day. And that pattern looks to continue on and off through the remainder of the day.
A front has stalled on top of south Louisiana and it's keeping deep tropical moisture trapped across much of the south east which is going to fuel those showers.
At times the rain will be fairly heavy which can lead to some localized flooding in low lying areas, but for the most part the rain will be slow enough that the ground will be able to drain.
There's one more day that will play out the same way with showers back in the forecast again on Wednesday as that moisture continues to pile up for yet another day.
Finally, some drier air will work its way into the forecast which will mean temperatures bounce back up to wrap up the work week. The showers will also be coming to an end.
