It's another very soggy day here in Acadiana with widely scattered showers returning to the area through the middle of the day.
There's another upper level disturbance moving through the northern portion of the state which has fired up showers in north Louisiana.
Eventually those showers will start pop up during the middle of the day with a handful of thunderstorms rolling through Tuesday afternoon.
Temperatures will stick in the upper 80s with all the clouds out there Tuesday, although a heat index will likely sit in the lower 90s, and lows will be in the upper 70s.
This won't be quite the end of the showers this week, with a few more scattered showers on the way for Wednesday, but it'll get drier by the end of the week and temperatures return to normal.
As far as Louisiana is concerned the tropics are staying quiet through the week, but as one would expect, it looks like the season may start to kick on with waves coming off Africa.
