This round of quiet weather will continue on Tuesday with wall to wall sunshine and temperatures are going to be comfortably sitting in the low 70s through the afternoon.

Since it's Election Day this means that those who will be heading out to cast their vote won't have any kind of inclement weather to worry about, and even as people line up outside there's no problem weather expected.

If you will be heading to the polls early you may want to bundle up as temperatures will be cold early Tuesday morning with most areas sitting in the low 40s and upper 30s, but a nice warm up is expected by the afternoon.

Temperatures are going to continue to warm over the next several days with highs back in the upper 70s and even low 80s by the end of the weekend, where it looks like they will stick through most of next week.

In the tropics powerful Hurricane Eta made landfall in central America as a powerful Category 4 storm, and a slow turn into the Caribbean means that it could reemerge in the Gulf of Mexico.

It's way to early to say what will happen in the long term, but it's certainly a reminder that we are not through the 2020 hurricane season yet.
