Organization To Hold Session On Dealing With Mental Health During COVID-19

IBERIA PARISH — The Coronavirus pandemic continues to prey on the emotions of people, leaving some trying to figure out how to cope with these feelings of stress, anxiety, and isolation that the virus brought with it.

The Iberia Mental Health Initiative, Inc. is hoping to relieve some of this burden by holding a family and mental health support session next week to discuss mental health during COVID-19

On Tuesday, May 26th, the organization will meet with people at the Steamboat Warehouse Pavilion in Bouligny Plaza from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to address and help others verbalize this feelings.

Attendance will be limited to 25% occupancy and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Attendees are also asked to bring their own lawn chair.
