Responders with the San Jacinto River Fleet Unified Command released drone footage on Saturday of the barges lodged underneath the I-10 bridge near Houston.
The bridge was struck by at least two barges on Friday.
The Coast Guard used drone footage to assess the damage to the bridge.
Safety of the public and responders is the command's first priority, the Coast Guard said. They added there is currently no health threat to the public.
There are no reports of pollution from the barges involved in the incident, they said. Pollution teams remain on site to monitor air and water remain on site and are prepared to respond if the situation changes.
