According to ABC News, the search has been called off for two firefighters who went missing during a fishing trip off the coast of Florida last week.
The search was suspended on Thursday night.
Brian McCluney from Jacksonville, Florida, and Justin Walker from Fairfax, Virginia, did not return after launching off the coast of Port Canaveral last Friday.
The search area exceeded 105,000 square miles because of the Gulf Stream.
U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Mark Vlaun said that officials were no longer able to look for the men with a “probability of success.”
Vlaun added that “We just have to continue to pray alongside the family that we learn something going forward that wil allow us to respond again."
