Police in Maine are investigating an email that referenced Senator Susan Collins and threatened nearby students.
It comes as the impeachment trial of President Trump nears its conclusion.
Police say the threat targets about a dozen school districts in a number of Maine cities, according to a report by WMTW.
Collins was one of only two Republicans on Friday to vote to allow subpoenas for witnesses and documents in the trial.
