A bullet-riddled Emmett Till memorial sign is set to be replaced after multiple incidents of the sign being vandalized, according to CNN.

The memorial is located in the spot where Till's body was pulled from the Tallahatchie River in 1955 after accusations that the 14-year-old African American flirted with a white woman.

The latest sign replacement comes after a photo of three college students posing with guns by the sign went viral.

This time, however, the sign is expected to be bulletproof.

Emmett Till's story became a catalyst for the civil rights movement.
