UPDATE: The Dallas Police Department says that the Amber Alert issued on Wednesday morning for a 3-year-old Dallas girl has been canceled.

Officers say Chasity Collins was found safe.

An Amber Alert was issued for Collins on September 23 after the vehicle she was in was stolen from outside a convenience store.

Police say that Chasity was in a White 2009 Lincoln 4-door MKZ Sedan that was stolen from the 2400 block of W. Ledbetter Drive in Dallas, Texas.

The incident happened at around 12:30 am, police say.

The Texas Department of Public Safety issued the alert.

Several Texas news outlets report that the child was found in the stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Mountain Lake Road. About three miles from where she originally taken.

Police did not give any other details or information on if any suspects had been arrested.
