LAFAYETTE, La. - The Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, will be conducting saturation patrols for the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign during the Mardi Gras holiday season.
This campaign began Friday February 14th and will last thru Thursday February 27th, 2020.
Special emphasis will be placed on drivers that are impaired while driving.
Police say to designate a driver if you intend to drink.
