The forecast is settling down as we start to look toward the weekend, this after a front pushed across Acadiana Wednesday afternoon ushering in some drier air.
Temperatures in the afternoon will still be warm, however, humidity will be much lower which will make it feel much more comfortable when the thermometer hits 80 degrees.
Our skies will remain clear for the next several days and the next chance for some showers will be on Sunday when the next front is expected to push across the area.
This front is going to be a little more substantial than the previous one and next week will be clear and cool with a much deeper cool down on the way.
