Now more than ever people across the U.S. are looking for ways to maintain a healthy diet while in quarantine.

Seeing that need, The Louisiana Department of Agriculture is launching a new online tool for those looking to get their hands on farm-fresh food.

The "Louisiana Farm Food Map And Directory" allows residents to pinpoint local farms or farmer's markets in their area that are selling directly to consumers.

According to the website many sellers are now incorporating safe alternatives in order to to bring farm-fresh food directly to households, including home delivery, curbside pickup, and drive-thru farmers markets.

If you have a business selling farm-fresh food, there is a link that you can fill out to be included in the directory.

For a list of farms or farmer's markets in your area, you can check out The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry website.
