The Vermilion Arts Council is hosting a medieval evening of feasting and entertainment in the halls of Woodlawn Chapel on Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event lasts until 9 p.m.
The "Renaissance Feast" Benefit Dinner Event features a five-course meal that is carefully crafted by the Bon Temps Grill.
The Woodlawn Players will be on hand, providing entertainment in the form of a theatrical performance of "green Sleeves and the Court of Love." There will also be period music provided by Gypsy Dawn Consort.
All guests are encouraged to dress in Renaissance costume.
All proceeds from the event go towards bringing the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra to Abbeville for a concert.
