Santa Claus only has a few more days to get all the gifts ready for Christmas, but he found time to stop in at the Mayor of Kaplan's home tonight.
Mayor Mike Kloesel and his wife Pamela welcomed the community to their home tonight for a festive annual celebration.
Santa, who looked suspiciously like Mayor Kloesel, dropped by for a quick visit. Children were able to tell meet Santa, tell him exactly what they wanted for Christmas, and take a photo with him.
Pets were also allowed for pictures.
The event was complete with hot chocolate, cookies, Grinch punch, and more treats.
Kristy Hebert, photographer/elf, says her father loves holding the yearly event for the community.
She said the event takes about a month to prepare for, and preparation usually begins during Thanksgiving break.
When asked what she hopes everyone who attended the event felt the "love and joy" that the family hopes to spread.
She hopes the children there felt the spirit of Christmas.
