Free COVID-19 self-testing to be offered in Kaplan

The City of Kaplan will offer free COVID-19 testing on Monday, June 15, at Marie Clement Park for anyone who would like to be tested.

Testing will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 11 a.m. Anyone wishing to be tested must be 16 years of age or older and bring a valid state ID.

The site will feature self-testing, which will be done in front of a member of the Louisiana National Guard. The National Guard and the Office of Public Health is making the free testing site available in Kaplan. Testing will take between 3-4 minutes and results will be back in 3-4 days.

Marie Clement Park is located at 900 E. 5th Street in Kaplan.
