The Morgan City Police Department is asking for any information on the whereabouts of 16-year-old John Robert Hymel of Morgan City.
Hymel escaped from a juvenile facility in Calcasieu Parish, and authorities believe he may be in the Morgan City area.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office currently holds an active warrant for escape.
Anyone with information on Hymel's whereabouts is asked to contact the Morgan City Police Department at 985-384-2310. You can also leave a tip online at www.morgancitypolice.org or send a tip to their Facebook account.
