A St. Martinville man has been arrested and charged with a crime against nature.
70-year-old Samuel Brannen was arrested on Thursday after an investigation into a report of alleged sexual abuse of a juvenile male, says SMPSO spokesperson Major Ginny Higgins.
Following an investigation of the report, made in December 2019, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Brannen.
Brannen was arrested on Thursday following the execution of the warrant and charged with one count of Aggravated Crime against Nature (Felony).
Following his arrest, Brannen was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. Bond has not yet been set.
