St. Martin Parish Deputies have arrested a Breaux Bridge man following an investigation this week.

Officers executed a search warrant Friday at a residence on Poche Bridge Road in connection with the investigation, says spokesperson Major Ginny Higgins. Following the execution of the warrant and during the search, investigators located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

32-year-old Trey Cormier was arrested on one count each of Possession of Schedule I CDS, Possession of Schedule II CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Investigators also obtained an arrest warrant for Cormier in connection to a recent burglary. He was therefore also charged with one count of Simple Burglary.

Cormier was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. Bond has been set at $50,000 for the burglary charge; no bond has yet been set on the subsequent narcotics charges.
