A Breaux Bridge man has been arrested after a weeks-long investigation into allegations of juvenile abuse.
St. Martin Parish Deputies received the initial report of alleged physical abuse against a juvenile on February 21. Deputies obtained an arrest warrant and on Tuesday, that warrant was executed. 37-year-old Scott Blanchard was arrested and is facing one charge of Cruelty to Juveniles.
Blanchard was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. Records show Blanchard is no longer in custody.
