Helping men regroup and, in many ways, reconnect, is what the Refinery Mission for Men is all about.
The Refinery held its annual luncheon today, where inspirational stories were shared by some of the organization's clients, men who credit the Refinery for getting them back on track and saving their lives.
The Refinery operates a 60-bed shelter in St. Landry Parish and provides counseling, medical services, and job training to men, many of whom were homeless or battling substance abuse.
KATC's Scott Brazda served as the event's emcee.
