Opelousas Police are asking for the public's help in locating a runaway 16-year-old.
Major Mark Guidry says officers received a complaint on May 15 from the mother of Caelan Voss. Voss' mother told police her son left home without permission, and has left home without consent on several other occasions.
Caelan left home at 11 a.m. on the 15th.
The case is being investigated as a child being absent from home without consent (runaway).
Police believe Caelan is possibly in a surrounding city.
