The Opelousas Police Department is currently experiencing phone line issues, according to Mark Guidry, Patrol Division Commander at the department.
Some phone calls are not connecting from various phone providers. Some landline calls are still being received.
They said they are currently working with their service provider to get the issue resolved.
Anyone with an emergency is asked to call 911. Routine non-emergency calls can be made through St. Landry 911 at 337-948-9088.
