Opelousas native, UL alum, and Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot was recently featured on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah to discuss how the organization is responding during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Feeding America is the nation's largest hunger relief group. They expect to feed 17 million more Americans than usual in the next six months.
Babineaux told host Trevor Noah that she has never witnessed a system being more strained.
The video also features a fundraiser for Feeding America - as of 9 p.m., $12,165 had been raised.
