The Opelousas General Health System Foundation has announced the launch of a Diaper Bank. The Bank will supply direct care providers with diapers, wipes, adult diapers, and Chux Pads to clients and patients.

The kickoff for the Diaper Bank is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, at OGHS South Campus in the main front lobby at 5:30 p.m.

At the kickoff, participants can meet with partner organizations and champions of the cause.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring along a pack of diapers to help kick start the initiative.

Items needed are baby diapers, adult diapers, wipes, and Chux Pads.

Those interested in doing more can host their own diaper drive during Diaper Need Awareness Week from September 23 - 27. All that you need to do is grab a box and encourage your employees or patrons to fill it up. You may be featured on the Diaper Bank's Facebook page and the Foundation will collect the diapers for you.
