St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz has announced that the new Tax and Civil Building will be operational and open to the public on Monday, August 5, 2019.
Services will be available starting at that Monday at 8:30 a.m.
The building is located at 1618 E. Prudhomme St. in Opelousas, next to the Tractor Supply and the main St. Landry Parish Public Safety Complex.
A grand opening ceremony will be held at a later date that will be announced.
A skeleton crew will be at the courthouse to direct citizens to the new location.
