Despite temperatures reaching into the low 70s this afternoon, students gathered near Martin Hall on UL's campus to enjoy some snow!
The annual Sneaux Day was held to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Santa Claus himself visited at the home of University President Dr. Joseph Savoie. Students also participated in a snowman building contest. Faculty and staff were invited to bring their families to get their picture taken with Santa, play in the show, and get in the holiday spirit.
At 6, the student portion of Sneaux Day began with music from the University Chamber Singers and various games and contests that culminated in a snowman making contest where one team of students won a scholarship for each member of the winning team.
