Today, the Rotary Club of Lafayette, along with students from David Thibodaux STEM program, put together food baskets for the less fortunate in the area.
The Rotary Club has crafted these food baskets for almost 25 years, but they are thankful that the students helped to put a personal touch on the baskets.
"We've been doing these boxes for about a quarter of a century, and we do this every year. We also have the David Thibodaux STEM Academy that does work with us. They have been coming with us and they decorate the boxes and make them real presentable to the community," explained Monica Dumes, secretary of the Lafayette Rotary Club.
