The on and off ramps of I-10 westbound at Louisiana Avenue (exit 104) will be closed on Thursday, September 19, at 11 p.m. until Friday, September 20, at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary to allow the contractor to prepare for the I-10 westbound traffic swap.
The detour for Louisiana Avenue northbound and southbound traffic attempted to get on I-10 westbound will be detoured to I-10 eastbound to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge) back onto I-10 westbound.
The detour route for I-10 westbound traffic attempting to exit at Louisiana Avenue will be detoured to US 167/US 90 (Evangeline Thruway) to I-10 eastbound to Louisiana Avenue.
Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through this ramp closure.
