Macaroni Kid and St. Julien Park are celebrating the fall season by hosting a Trunk or Treat tonight in St. Julien Park.
Over 30 local businesses will be set up in the park with decorated trunks passing out candy to children. There will also be fun jumps, face painting, a DJ, a photo booth, dance competitions, an electric train, and a costume contest that will take place at 7:30 p.m.
This year there will also be virtual gaming provided by Planet VR.
Concessions will be open and, in addition to the normal items, they will have red beans and rice and blackened chicken pasta for $6 a bowl.
The event is being sponsored by Macaroni Kid, St. Julien Park, Courtesy Chevrolet and Cadillac, Home Bank, Slemco, and Burgersmith.
The event starts at 5:30 this evening and lasts until 8:30 p.m.
St. Julien Park is located at 701 St. Nazaire St in Broussard.
