LUS, along with consulting engineering from Burns & McDonnell, will be hosting the first of a series of community input sessions on Tuesday, November 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The session will lay out some of the research that LUS and Burns & McDonnell have gathered and will collect public feedback in developing LUS's Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The IRP will address the future electric needs for Lafayette and help LUS achieve its objectives of providing affordable and reliable energy.

The meeting is set to be held at the South Regional Library in Lafayette. It is open to the public and is free; however, registration is required for the session to ensure adequate space.
