Lafayette Police are investigating a stabbing on Louisiana Avenue between Mudd and Carmel.
Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Griffin confirmed with KATC that a female victim did get stabbed and has been transported to a local hospital. There is no word on the extent of her injuries.
More information will be released when it becomes available.
