Two Lafayette teenagers won't face first degree murder charges in the September 2019 shooting death of 20-year-old Tiage Hudson.

The Advocate reports that 19-year-old Rontralon Joseph and 17-year-old D'ivion Francis will face felony manslaughter charges instead.

Joseph and Francis will return to court in March for arraignment.

Hudson was shot near a residence on Edison St. on September 4, 2019. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on scene.

Joseph and Francis were arrested shortly after.
