A Lafayette man has been indicted on a second degree murder charge in connection with an March shooting death.
20-year-old Taveon Malik Leary was indicted in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Kendrick L. Flugence, Jr. That shooting occurred on March 24 at the Mon Chateau apartment complex on Louisiana Avenue.
Leary later turned himself in to the Lafayette Police Department on April 10.
