JCPenney announced Thursday, October 10 that the company will hire 70 seasonal associates in Lafayette in preparation for the holiday season.
The company is looking to fill various positions including cashiers, replenishment specialists, SEPHORA beauty consultants and more.
Positions will be filled during National Hiring Day on Tuesday, October 15 at the JCPenney location in the Acadiana Mall at 5725 Johnston Street.
The hiring event will take place from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In-person interviews will be conducted and the company says that employment offers to qualified candidates will be made on-the-spot.
Those interested in applying can do so online at jcpcareers.com or in-store at an applicant kiosk prior to the event.
Around 37,000 seasonal associates are expected to be hired across the country.
