Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church recognized first responders and their service to the community Wednesday with a special mass.
The mass was held at noon at the church in Carencro.
City police, sheriff's deputies, city marshals, firemen, and Acadian Ambulance Services were all invited to the event.
