DOTD has announced that LA 3073 (Ambassador Caffery Parkway) from Broadmoor Boulevard to Settlers Trace Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic starting on Wednesday, October 30 at 10 p.m. until Thursday, October 31 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
The closure is needed to allow crews to perform work on the Vermilion River bridge crossing.
A detour route will be posted and will consist of LA 339 (Verot School Road), LA 92 (Milton Highway), LA 733 (East Broussard Road), and US 167 (Johnston Street).
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
DOTD appreciates the public's patience and wants to remind everyone to drive with caution and be on the lookout for crews and their equipment.
