The 2019 Vampire's Ball will be held Saturday night - the theme for the ball is "Voodoo on the Bayou" and is guaranteed to take your senses to another level.

It is being held at the River Oaks Catering and Event Center from 7 - 11 p.m. tonight.

Starting off the night will be an interactive story depicting the life of Marie Laveau. There will be live music from the Krossfyre Band and there will also be a psychic, along with food, dancing, and a silent auction.

All proceeds from the ball will go to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana (ARF-LA). Their mission is to provide care, shelter and medical attention for stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs, and then place them in loving homes through their adoption process. On average the cost ARF-LA incurs when rescuing and rehabilitating a homeless dog is $430 (without heartworm treatment) and the adoption fee is only $200. ARF needs sponsors like you to continue the costly mission of saving homeless dogs.

Deanna Head, Founder and CEO of Unitech Training Academy, said, "We hope we can adopt some animals tonight, some dogs, and also help some abused animals be able to have a good shelter to go to."
