The Best Stop Supermarket will hold a groundbreaking ceremony this week for their new wholesale facility in Scott.
The ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 24 at the facility's location behind the supermarket on LA 93.
The event begins at 11:30 am.
Boudin, cracklins and gumbo will be served.
Best Stop says that the event is open to the public.
The 15,000-square-foot facility will cost $6 million and take up to 10 months to complete, according to the owners.
