Telescope owners saw beyond the Acadiana skies today at the Lafayette Science Museum.
A workshop was held at the museum where those in attendance got expert advice on how to get the most out of their telescope.
Dave Hostetter, Planetarium Curator with the science museum said of today's event, "I hope what'll happen is that they'll feel more confident about what their telescope does and how to find things. They'll take it out and use it more often and begin to learn more about the sky and more about the universe."
