The East Side Water System in Ville Platte has issued a boil advisory due to a water main break.
The affected areas are Foret Lane to Central Crawfish Center.
Customers in the affected areas need to boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking. The one minute starts once the water comes to a rolling boil.
The advisory will be rescinded upon notification from the Department of Health.
