The Rayne Chamber of Commerce showed some gratitude to the city's businesses by feeding workers Thursday afternoon.
The Chamber's president says today's Business Appreciation Luncheon is a show of solidarity with companies trying to survive the economic slowdown.
"It's about supporting our businesses and letting them know how much they're important to the community and they're needed to reopen," explained Rayne COC President Jeremy Lavergne. "We know that some of them have been going through very stressful times, and some businesses have been extremely busy, and we're here to support them and give back to them. We're here to stand strong behind them continually going forward."
