4th Annual Cadien Toujours Boucherie held Saturday

The 4th Annual Cadien Toujours Boucherie was held on Saturday in Morse.

The event included cooking demonstrations throughout the day, live bands, and a jam session.

Cadien Toujours President Steven Richard explained that the event is "to teach the culture, pass on the heritage to all these kids running around. They get to see what our ancestors used to do...stuff that we're trying to hold onto."

Admission was $10 at the door. Children under the age of 15 and those who brought an instrument and played in the jam session got in free.

Below is the music schedule:

1-3 p.m.: Jam session
3-6 p.m.: Kyle Huval & The Dixie Club Ramblers
6:30-9:30 p.m.: The Mike Dean Band

The Boucherie will take place in a barn located at 1174 Lafosse Road in Morse.
