The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce held their 16th Annual Gumbo Cook-OffSaturday in Crowley.
Teams competed in four different categories to see who had the best recipe - Non-seafood with a homemade roux, seafood with a homemade roux, non-seafood with a jar roux, and seafood with a jar roux.
Live music was also provided during the event by local favorites Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band.
There were fun activities for kids and all you can eat gumbo for only $10.
