To get ready for a Prom Dress Giveway, volunteers spent this afternoon sorting and hanging dresses.
Every year the Butterfly Effect collects gently used formal dresses for local girls to wear at their prom.
"We are doing our best to make sure that girls have an extravagant prom, regardless on whether they can afford one or not," says Natasha Leday, executive director of New Day community Outreach. "We want every girl to have an opportunity to have a nice beautiful dress."
