Here's our story from yesterday's vigil for Bodin:
A vigil was held Saturday evening to honor Lauri Walters Bodin, who was killed Thursday night in Youngsville.
During tonight's vigil, loved ones spoke about Lauri and how they want everyone to remember her joy, laughter, and smile.
Also, awareness was raised on domestic violence and the importance of getting help if you're in that situation.
Loved ones of Lauri's are working to raise funds for funeral costs, as well as to help the children Bodin leaves behind.
According to our media partners at The Advocate, previous threats of murder-suicide preceded the fatal shooting.
