Two people are dead following an apparent murder-suicide in Youngsville.
Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies say they are investigating a Thursday night shooting which happened in the 100 block of Maple Grove Lane in Youngsville.
LPSO says that at around 10:00 p.m. on July 23, 2020, deputies were called to a home where two people had been found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.
Deputies say that 45-year-old Trent Bodin allegedly shot and killed 42-year-old Lauri Walters Bodin before turning the gun on himself.
