The UL Ragin Cajun family lost a member recently, but the team will take him on the field with them when they play this Friday.

UL Assistant Coach D.J. Looney died after having a heart attack at practice back in August. He was only 31 years old.

Since then, he's been recognized and remembered for his contributions and for the man he was.

When the team plays the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Friday, his name will be on their jerseys.
