A second suspect is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on N. University Avenue in Lafayette over the weekend.
Investigators with the Lafayette Police Department say they need help identifying the suspect. They say the person pictured is involved in the 2nd Degree Murder incident that occurred at a local convenience store.
On Thursday, LPD announced the arrest of a 17-year-old in connection with that fatal shooting.
The shooting happened on Saturday September 19 at around 11:30 pm in the 800 block of N. University Avenue. A victim was shot multiple times in the upper torso and later died at a hospital.
Damian George, 18, of Lafayette was identified as the victim in the shooting.
