One killed during Sunday shooting in Lafayette, police investigating

One person was shot Sunday afternoon in Lafayette, police say.
Police were called to the 900 block of Peach Street at about 2 p.m.
They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital. So far, we have no word on his condition.
