Love our Schools awarded Acadiana High School Thursday a matching grant of $10,000 to help with the costs of state championship rings ensuring that all 104 players and coaches receive one.
Chris Reis was a member of the Saints Super Bowl winning team and says a championship ring makes him think of dedication and his teammates.
Reis said, "When I think of the Super Bowl ring, and what we were able to accomplish with the Saints, I think of those guys, I don't think of just winning, I think of what it took to win with those guys, there is a value to all of those things and I think its important."
